Fireblocks connects to a set of tools that verify counterparties, screen transactions for risk, and exchange the information required by the Travel Rule. This page lists each check and provider, how it is enabled and connected, and where it is available. Connecting a provider does not screen anything on its own. Your compliance policy defines the Trigger (Screening Policy), which determines which transactions are screened, and the Outcome (Post-Screening Policy), which determines what happens to the result. See Compliance Policies. Most capabilities are premium add-ons that Fireblocks Support enables in your workspace. Address Registry Screening and TRUST are free.

Checks and providers

There is no API to connect to an AML/KYT provider. Once a provider is connected, you read its policy and act on screened transactions through the API or, where supported, the Console. The Travel Rule for exchange and on- and off-ramp transactions does not pass through these providers; Fireblocks handles it directly for connected accounts. See Travel Rule. Each check has its own guide, linked from About Identity & Compliance.

Limits

  • AML/KYT: only one provider can be connected to a workspace at a time. To switch providers, contact Fireblocks Support.
  • Travel Rule: one provider per workspace, with one exception: Sumsub and GTR can be active on the same workspace together.

Workspace availability

  • Address Registry Screening: Testnet and Mainnet workspaces.
  • All Travel Rule providers and Bring Your Own Screening: Developer Sandbox, Testnet, and Mainnet workspaces.
  • Chainalysis: Testnet and Mainnet workspaces.
  • Elliptic and TRM Labs: Mainnet workspaces only.
